What is Hobonichi Techo?

Hobonichi Techo is one of Japan’s most treasured planner brands. The company was founded by the writer Shigesato Itoi in 1998, who set up a famous website - Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun – where he posted blog entries, articles, essays and interviews. In 2001 they decided to create the perfect planner, starting with just 12,000 copies. A business that has now grown to last year’s figure of nearly 750,000 planners!

What paper Hobonichi Techo uses?

Hobonichi uses Tomoe River paper which well known as its incredibly thin yet durable quality. It resists bleed-through and offers a smooth writing

Which size is available?

Hobonichi Techo offers three main sizes: Original (A6), Cousin (A5) and Weeks. Then each size comes with its own unique format options.
