The Hobonichi HON has a hardcover design already attached to the book. It’s designed to make you feel like you’re carrying around a favourite book, which you can pull out at any time to make notes no matter where you are. The book has A5 size pages with plenty of space to write and paste, and features a page per day, so the contents are the same as the A5 Hobonichi Cousin.
The Cats & Me design uses the same fabric as the Bow & Tie series for the Weeks, which features textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The gloss and soft touch of the material makes this series stand out.
This design features cats that are sitting down and looking steadily this way on a pale, mint green base. Various cats have been expressed in detail through the weaves of the necktie material.
As a special exclusive only for the HON, this techo comes with a pencil board. The board is A5 size and clear, with 5mm grid lines printed across it. There are measurements printed along one side in 1mm increments, which allow for it to be used as a ruler. This new type of pencil board has a pen holder attached to it, so users can store pens by their clips.
