The Paper series uses the nuanced paper from the paper company Takeo for their covers. Sky uses Takeo’s Miranda paper for its cover, making it smooth to the touch. Just like the sky in spring, this light blue shade has a slightly muted undertone. While at first glance, this may look like a simple, single-toned cover, upon closer inspection, you will find that there is a powder-like layer of fine glitter across the entire surface.

Hobonichi Techo is one of Japan’s most treasured planner brands. The company was founded by the writer Shigesato Itoi in 1998, who set up a famous website - Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun – where he posted blog entries, articles, essays and interviews. In 2001 they decided to create the perfect planner, starting with just 12,000 copies. A business that has now grown to last year’s figure of nearly 750,000 planners! Find our more
