This design was released in 1933 by artist "DS," who created "Betsy" and other designs. This design is studded with a vast array of flowers in various colors and shapes, including light pink, orange, vermilion and other red tones, as well as pale navy, sky blue, and other blue tones. It has "butterfly stopper" pen holders, which also function as a clasp to keep the cover shut.
About the Artist
Liberty Fabrics is a fabric brand from England. Founded in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty (1843-1917), who discovered the beauty of Japanese art during a World''s Fair in London in the 19th century.
The company originated as a small import shop with oriental ornaments and fabrics. The delicate silk and intricate hand-dyed art were praised by followers of the Aesthetic Movement, and in the 1880s, Liberty began printing high-quality cotton textiles as a way to recreate sturdy versions of the delicate Eastern silks.
This is a cover only and does not include the Techo book. The book is available here.
