This cover is a special collaboration with ONE PIECE Magazine, a publication that delves deeply into the world of the One Piece manga.
The design features Luffy, as drawn by Eiichiro Oda for the cover of Vol. 14 of the magazine. The chic black cover showcases a silk-screen printed illustration of Luffy, accented with red stitching along the edges and a matching bookmark, creating a bold and striking look. Inside, the cover features a scene from Vol. 40, marking the first appearance of Gear 2.
The right-side pocket is silk-screen printed with Luffy’s words, spoken just before he activates this powerful technique. Inspired by the spine design of ONE PIECE Magazine, the cover’s spine resembles a book and includes the phrase, “They Call Him 'Straw Hat Luffy,’” in black.
