The picture book Ohikosshi illustrated by 100%ORANGE is now available on a Hobonichi Techo cover. Ohikkoshi was first released in the monthly magazine Ohanashi Pooka in 2007, and published as a picture book the following year.

On this Cousin-size cover the squirrels are steadily progressing in single-file over a pair of boots, a flower planter, and even a cat! Among them, there are those that are wearing a striped shirt, holding an umbrella or fitted with a belt. All the more fun to imagine each of their different personalities.

About the brands / artists

Hobonichi Techo is one of Japan’s most treasured planner brands. The company was founded by the writer Shigesato Itoi in 1998, who set up a famous website - Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun – where he posted blog entries, articles, essays and interviews. In 2001 they decided to create the perfect planner, starting with just 12,000 copies. A business that has now grown to last year’s figure of nearly 750,000 planners! Find our more
