A rare oshima silk haori woven from very fine silk thread. This haori is woven from dark brown and grey silk. Oshima silk uses very fine silk threads to create a very high thread count silk that is lightweight and lustrous.

This haori is lined with silk that has been painted. The lining depicts scenes from travelling, as well as books and calligraphy sets.
