This teapot has a special water-repellant finish, patented in Saga prefecture, to prevent dripping from the spout and tea stains from forming.
It’s made by Hizenyoshida-yaki in Ureshino city, Saga prefecture. Hizenyoshida-yaki has been produced in this area for over 400 years.
