The Hobonichi HON has a hardcover design already attached to the book. It’s designed to make you feel like you’re carrying around a favourite book, which you can pull out at any time to make notes no matter where you are. The book has A6 size pages with plenty of space to write and paste, and features a page per day, so the contents are the same as the A6 English Original Book.
The Paper Series uses unique paper by specialised paper trading company Takeo.
This book may seem like an A6 black Techo, but when you look closely, you will find the entire surface covered with a plaid pattern. The book is made of Takeo’s “Gingham GA,” a paper embossed with plaids reminiscent of gingham. You can see the gingham pattern from different angles of light. Although it’s embossed, it feels smooth to the touch.
As a special exclusive only for the HON, this techo comes with a pencil board. The board is A6 size and clear, with 5mm grid lines printed across it. There are measurements printed along one side in 1mm increments, which allow for it to be used as a ruler. This new type of pencil board has a pen holder attached to it, so users can store pens by their clips.
